I’ve had a love for makeup since I was a young teen, but I never imagined it would ever lead to a career! My friends and family always asked me to help them get dolled up for special events such as prom or photo shoots and I realized it was more of a calling than just a hobby.

I went to beauty school in Redding, CA to become a licensed makeup artist/esthetician. When I graduated and became licensed in 2013 I went to work for Macys, in the cosmetics department as a manager for one of the beauty counters. I was able to fully immerse myself in the beauty industry and learn and the top tips and tricks from some of the most popular brands in the industry. While also managing a team of sales associates, and selling, I also did makeup on customers for large events and sometimes just for fun!

After a few very successful years I was asked to move to the Bay Area and work for Smashbox cosmetics as a studio artist and manager. With Smashbox I was able to host 2 major photo events, train at Smashbox studios in LA and prefect my skills as a makeup artist that specializes in photo ready makeup.

I left Smashbox in 2017 to work for Benefit Cosmetics as an “arch expert” and my career turned towards waxing and perfecting eyebrow shape. With Benefit, I was still fully in the cosmetics world but I took on a greater leadership role by managing the Union Square SF brow bar. This opportunity allowed me the privilege of working major beauty events with Sephora and Macys and meeting wonderful people along the way. I grew so much as a person and as a leader during this time.

When the pandemic forced many of us in the beauty industry to stop working temporarily, I made the decision to move back to Humboldt County to be near family, to get married and start my own family.

I now have a work space in Eureka,CA, where I primarily practice esthetics and cosmetic tattooing. I have full clientele who I am so thankful for, but I also take a handful of makeup bookings every season, because its my passion and my creative outlet!
